Q; Please tell us about your vision that has driven Fire India towards success ?
Fire India started in 1994, since then we have had 13 successful editions of our iconic trade fair forging life long fruitful business connections and also educating the society about fire safety. Fires are the leading cause of injuries and deaths around the world. The idea to launch a platform which supports and helps reduce the risk and also to help prevent such mishaps. We want to empower the market so that we are at a better place to prevent such disasters and save lives, in conjunction to this Fire India provides great platform to conduct business, meet potential buyers and interact with other exhibitors, visitors and members of the fire fraternity. Our 14th and upcoming show in September will have an extravagant display of the latest innovations from around the world and state of the art technology propelling fire industry forward.
Q; Please elaborate a little about the government support to fire Industry ?
The Indian government is investing heavily in infrastructure development, upgrading existing airports and setting up new ones , development in metros in various cities in India. A growing India offers opportunity across sectors – notably infrastructure, pharma, automobiles, education and many more in an investor friendly environment.
As in India large refineries, petrochemical plants, biotechnology ventures, steel, oil and gas exploration projects need to comply with various mandatory safety regulations. All of these segments has been contributing hugely to the growth of the country’s fire and safety markets.
Q; Can you tell us a bit more about Fire India 2019 ?
After the grand success of the 13th edition of Fire India 2018 in Hyderabad, SI has announced the launch of Fire India 2019 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi co-located with Safetyex. Fire India is the only dedicated show catering to Fire safety industry in India, supported by leading Industry association and a conference program that is unparalleled by any other in the country making it the mecca of the industry.
Q; How do you think India will benefit the participants sponsors and industry?
Exhibitions and trade fairs provide an excellent opportunity to assess opinions from clients and determine market potential. Conducting research and evaluating competition, develop commercial structures by identifying new agents and distributors, also initiating joint ventures and project partnerships.
