HIKVISION SPARKLES AT ‘SECUTECH INDIA 2017’

Hikvision, the global leader in innovative video surveillance products and solutions, announced today that its participation in the just concluded ‘Secutech India 2017’ was a remarkable success. The three day mega event inaugurated by Mr. Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Founder, Lodha Group was held at the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai from April 6-8, 2017. The dignitaries who visited the exhibition included Hon.Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Mr.Devendra Fadnavis, IAS Officers, Senior Government Officials, Intelligence Experts, Director General of Police, top security professionals and corporate heads. 

Coorganised by Messe Frankfurt  and Asian Business Exhibition & Conference (ABEC) with support from the Government of Maharashtra and various leading industry organizations ‘Secutech India 2017’ saw over 80 exhibitors, 690 brands and over 28,000 visitors from more than 15 countries. Hikvision’s security solutions experts   addressed the audience on the new technologies at the Hikvision pavilion each day at 12pm and 3pm and answered questions raised by the attendees. There was also a live demo by Hikvision’s Technical Team to visitors and prospective clients and       customers on operation and utility of its products on all the three days. 

A Quiz Program on security was also conducted on each day and the winners walked away with attractive prizes. A lucky draw added further excitement and the fortunate visitor received fabulous prizes. The visitor density at Hikvision huge pavilion was the highest in the exhibition. 

Speaking on the concluding day about Hikvision’s participation in the exhibition, Mr. Ashish Dhakan, Managing Director & CEO, Pramahikvision (India) Pvt. Launches Latest Innovations/Technologies

Hikvision launched at ‘Secutech India 2017’ its latest innovations and technologies such as 

(i)UAVs

Hikvision introduced to the Indian market its latest Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) which provide an efficient solution for places where normally humans would not dare or  find difficult to access, such as forest fires, high-voltage power grids and natural disasters like floods, landslides, avalanches  and earthquakes.

(ii) H.265+ 

Hikvision unveiled its proprietary H.265+ video compression technology, which improves the compression ratio utilizing Prediction Encoding, Noise Suppression and Bitrate Control. By significantly reducing the bit rate and associated bandwidth usage, H.265+ supports system operators by maximizing the impact on their available budget without compromising on image quality.

The new Hikvision EasyIP 3.0 range features H.265+ efficient compression technology, which promotes the use of ultra HD video surveillance solutions using 4K cameras, as well as 2, 3, 5 and 8 megapixel models – which are all available in the Hikvision EasyIP 3.0 range including the EXIR and DarkFighter series                                        

 (iii) ‘All-in-one’ PanoVu Series

On the show was Hikvision’s latest PanoVu Series cameras exclusively designed for wide-area security monitoring applications. Combining 8MP/16MP sensors with a high-powered PTZ camera, PanoVu allows end-users to replace or support multiple cameras with just one 180, or 360 degree view camera, delivering a highly detailed panoramic display.

(iv) Thermal & Optical Bi-spectrum PTZ Cameras

Also on display was a new Thermal camera range. Available in many versions such as static and PTZ , thermal only, or thermal and video imaging with 36x optical zoom, their thermal imaging capability extends to up to 1,200m at resolutions up to 640 x 512 pixels, irrespective of the light level or weather condition. The powerful features make it the perfect solution for 24/7 perimeter protection.       

(v)Turbo HD 4.0

Hikvision also introduced its highly acclaimed Turbo HD 4.0 Solution, which upgrades an analogue system to 8 MP-resolution, makes high-definition surveillance systems possible without the need to replace existing coaxial cables.  

(vi) Blazer Pro

Hikvision’s powerful, convenient and fail proof VMS Server Blazer Pro has rich features from basic functions like recording, live view, playback and alarm management to optional advanced functions such as license plate recognition, POS integration, business intelligence and mobile surveillance. Blazer Pro meets the high demands for reliability and features for critical installations.                                                                                          

(vii) ‘Deep Learning Technology’

Hikvision introduced its ‘Deep Learning Technology’ to India which is widely used in structural data analysis, smart traffic controlling, and facial  analysis which will bring great intelligence to full vertical solutions in the near future. Its Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Technology based on ‘Deep Learning Technology’ and led by the company’s Research Institute has won the first price in the ICDAR 2016 Robust Reading Competition. The Hikvision team substantially surpassed both strong domestic and foreign competitors in three Word Recognition challenges, including ‘Born-Digital Images’, ‘Focused Scene Text’, and ‘Incidental Scene Text’, demonstrating that the Word Recognition Technology by Hikvision reached the world’s top level.                                                               

                                                        

 (viii) ‘Machine Vision’

Based on broad customer requirements and many years of industry accumulation, Hikvision has made great achievements in the new market segment ‘Machine Vision’, including UAV, mobile robot (warehouse/parking) and industrial camera. The state-of-the-art production facilities, manufacturing equipment and resources, and our meticulous craftsmanship provide guarantees for industry-leading quality of each Hikvision’s product.

(ix) ‘Smart IP 2.0’

Also on display was ‘Smart IP 2.0’, a highly intelligent solution that features object counting, region entering or leaving, object removal or leaving and ANPR. In short, this is an ideal choice for many applications.  All Hikvision’s IP cameras incorporate the technology to provide leading-edge camera surveillance performance.

(x) ‘T100 Portable SSD’

For faster, stronger and safe mobile data storage, Hikvision has come out with a ‘T100 Portable SSD’. Though small in size it has a large capacity of upto 480 GB. Reading speeds up to 450MB per second, it is six times faster than HDD.
