It was indeed my pleasure and privilege to rub shoulders with the titans of the fire and safety world / fraternity from across the country and abroad at our “Safe Tech Awards & Conference – 2022″ along with “Safe India Hero Plus” Awards Glorious Function on the 25th of August 2022 at Mumbai’s prestigious iconic Taj Mahal palace Hotel Gateway of India Mumbai. The response was so magnificent that only the pictures enclosed in this issue can even begin to capture the magic of the occasion.
The Awards & Conference was a runaway success and the atmosphere was electric overall was indeed yet another feather added in King’s Crown, total 483 attendees includes Safety Heads, Fire HOD’s, Safety Professionals, EHS Professionals, OHS Professionals, from Pan India Industries, Fire Officers & Fire Safety Consultants from all over India had graced the Show and we had awarded the best Safety practices followed in Industrial workplaces and Workmen Safety, as well as all our brave Firefighters and Rescuers too were awarded from both Govt. & Pvt sectors.
Through this column, I also wish to congratulate all our winners in all categories. A chronological detailed list of the awardees is carried elsewhere in this magazine with concerned photographs for the benefit of our readers.
Fire Measure in High Rises & Safety Signages has been the biggest drawback in recent times in India a lot of things have to be checked before plunging into a High-rise the most important is the evacuation procedure at a time of emergency, to begin with the fire risk associated with these high rise buildings has to be understood, a strategy for that Advance & Modern Fire Safety Training plays a major role along with Installing sufficient number of water curtains in basements, smoke screens in lobbies and staircase areas, and installing chutes for every two floors from the terrace to the ground, are the new measures. Facilitate quick evacuation. Both facilities have to be linked to smoke sensors. The last one installing chutes made of fire-resistant elastic material would be of great help in evacuating the vulnerable, including children and the aged, this would also be of great help to the Fire and Emergency Services officials. Last Month we organised the Grand Second Safe Tech Awards & Conference and award dedicated to safety in Industrial Plant Units and Factories Units of various industrial Segments with an aim to achieve Zero Accidents in workplace.. The Award Ceremony was a grand Success and every delegate and winners appreciated our effort & Congrats to all the winners.
This Month we will be participating in the Fire India Expo which is biggest Fire Event in the entire Asia where we will witness the best of the clients from the Fire Industry whom will descend upon the Gandhi Nagar – Ahmadabad Gujarat, now we are all set for FIRE INDIA, which is the Mecca of Fire fraternity, is finally here to dazzle with a major catalyst of growth to the fire and safety industry. This is the only event that brings together key industry buyers, suppliers and in order to facilitate the exchange of ideas, sharing of knowledge and large networking. We hereby urge all our readers to visit this exhibition & get to know about the latest technologies & awareness of the Fire Industry.
